Crystal Waitkus joined Jacobsen & McElroy in 2008 after having previously worked with another Sacramento civil litigation defense firm. Prior to working in the private sector, Crystal also clerked for a trial court judge in Nevada State Court. At Jacobsen & McElroy, her practice focuses on the defense of subcontractors in complex construction defect matters.

Crystal graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2002. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She was admitted to the California State Bar in June of 2006 and is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court, Eastern District. Crystal is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.
