Jennifer Stoecklein joined Jacobsen & McElroy on a full-time basis in 2008, after working part-time for the past six years. Jennifer has also spent the last six years performing writing and updating for several of Lexis Nexis/Matthew Bender’s research publications. Prior to working with Jacobsen & McElroy, Jennifer practiced personal injury defense and insurance coverage law in the Sacramento area for six years. Jennifer’s practice at Jacobsen & McElroy focuses on construction defect matters in the representation of subcontractors in complex construction defect matters.

Jennifer earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA in 1993. She then attended King Hall at U.C. Davis, where she obtained her J.D. in 1996 and was an editor for the U.C. Davis Law Review. She was admitted to the California State Bar in December of 1996 and is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court, Eastern District. Jennifer is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
