Anissa Stelle joined Jacobsen & McElroy after having previously worked with another Sacramento defense law firm. Her practice with Jacobsen & McElroy focuses primarily on the defense of subcontractors in the complex litigation arena of construction defect. She is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts.

Anissa obtained an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2002 from McGeorge School of Law while working full-time for another Sacramento law firm and serving on the board of Women Lawyers of Sacramento. Anissa was admitted to the Bar in May 2003.

Anissa has been a member and served on the Board of Women Lawyers of Sacramento since 1998. While she previously served as Vice-Chair of the Membership Committee for two years and Vice-Chair/Co-Chair of the Programs Committee for five years, she is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Grants & Awards Committee. Part of her past responsibilities have included acting as the Women Lawyers of Sacramento representative to the Sacramento County Bar Association’s MCLE Committee and first annual Unity Bar Career Day planning committee. Anissa is also a member of California Women Lawyers, the Association of Defense Counsel and the Sacramento County Bar Association.
