Christine McKenzie joined Jacobsen & McElroy in 2007 after practicing in a plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Sacramento. Chris is representing subcontractors in complex litigation matters involving construction defect lawsuits and also is handling the defense of personal injury lawsuits alleging negligence, premises liability and product liability.

Chris graduated from California State University Sacramento in 1995 with degrees in philosophy and Women’s Studies. In 2003, she graduated from Lincoln Law School, having won the Best Trial Advocacy Team Award. She was admitted to the California State Bar in March of 2004 and is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court, Eastern District. Chris is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel and Women Lawyers of Sacramento. She also teaches torts, legal writing and advanced civil litigation at MTI College.
