Kurtis Anders has civil litigation experience in the areas of construction defects, products liability and defense of public entities. Kurtis was previously a certified deputy inspector and soils technician and draws on this experience at Jacobsen & McElroy, where he focuses on defense of subcontractors in complex construction defect matters and property matters.
Kurtis obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington & Lee University in 2003. He attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law as an Anthony M. Kennedy fellow and graduated with great distinction. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2010. He is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
Kurtis enjoys skiing, salsa and swing dancing, and looks forward to teaching his son to play baseball. He enjoys working with students and previously worked as a LSAT instructor and a volunteer for the High School Mock Trial and McGeorge School of Law Appellate Advocacy competitions.
