Kristina (Kristie) Sager has extensive experience in personal injury matters and previously practiced with another AV rated Sacramento civil litigation defense firm. Prior to working in the private sector, Kristie served as an Assistant Public Defender for Sacramento County. Her practice with Jacobsen & McElroy focuses primarily on personal injury defense, including transportation, premises liability, product liability, construction site accidents and other complex civil litigation.
Kristie attended California State University at Chico, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science in 2002. While attending California State University at Chico, Kristie served as an intern with the Community Legal Information Center-Consumer Protection department in 2000 and was then elected by her peers to serve as the Administrative Director for the Community Legal Information Center from Fall 2000 to Spring 2001. She attended McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006. Kristie was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2007 and is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts. She is a member of the State Bar of California, Women Lawyers of Sacramento, Association of Defense Counsel, Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court.
Kristie enjoys playing ice hockey with her spouse and is captain of a co-ed hockey team. She also enjoys being outdoors and hiking with her 2 dogs. When not outside or on the ice, she enjoys writing and relaxing with her cat and parakeet.
