Jason Cale joined Jacobsen and McElroy in 2011. He has extensive civil litigation experience and has practiced in federal and state courts. During law school, Jason clerked for a superior court judge in Alameda County. Prior to joining Jacobsen & McElroy, he worked for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing as staff counsel and he also worked for a small boutique firm handling various matters. At Jacobsen and McElroy, his practice focuses on construction defect, fire loss, property claims, personal injury, ADA, Unruh, public entity and civil rights matters.
Jason graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate in December 2006 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007 and is also licensed to practice law in Federal Court (Northern District and Eastern District). He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California. He is an active volunteer with the Volunteer Legal Services Program of Northern California.
Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, cats and dog. Outdoor interests include fishing on his boat, running, hiking, and traveling with family.
