Brian Dolin joined Jacobsen & McElroy in 2000 after practicing insurance defense litigation and representing law enforcement and public employee associations throughout California. Brian is a well-respected and experienced attorney and is currently Of Counsel with the firm. At Jacobsen & McElroy, he has continued to handle litigated matters with an emphasis on premises liability, product liability, ADA litigation, construction defect and general liability actions.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1990. He received his law degree in 1995 from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where he was a participant in the Herzog Moot Court Competition. Brian was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1995 and was admitted to practice law in California in 1996.

He is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts where he has successfully represented clients at the trial and appellate court levels, including the reported case American River Fire Protection Dist. v. Brennan 58 Cal.App.4th 20. Brian has been a member of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court and is currently a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel.
