Dan Taylor is senior counsel with Jacobsen & McElroy and started with the firm in 2017 and has practiced law since 2002. Prior to that he was a paralegal for 5 years. As an attorney he was previously with another AV rated San Francisco civil litigation defense firm and focused on matters involving personal injury, construction defects, premises liability, products liability, business and contract disputes, real estate, commercial and banking disputes. His practice at Jacobsen & McElroy involves the defense of individuals, public entities and businesses in complex personal injury matters, including negligence, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, and construction site accidents.
Dan graduated from San Francisco State University in 1981 with a degree in Economics. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Empire College School of Law and was admitted to practice law in 2002. He is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts. He is also a member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
Dan enjoys classical music and Roman history. Other interests include music and theatre.
