Christine M. Henry

SENIOR COUNSEL

Christine Henry joined Jacobsen & McElroy in 2007 and later left to work with PRIDE Industries, a non-profit organization.  Chris returned to Jacobsen & McElroy in 2014 and is representing landlords, property management companies, private businesses and subcontractors in complex litigation matters involving habitability, environmental and construction defect lawsuits.  Chris is senior counsel with the firm.

Chris graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1995 with degrees in Philosophy and Women’s Studies.    In 2003, she graduated from Lincoln Law School with her Juris Doctorate and during her time at Lincoln, she won the Best Trial Advocacy Team Award.    She was admitted to the California State Bar in March of 2004 and is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court, Eastern District.  Chris is a member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel. Chris spends time in support local veterans’ organizations, and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 67 Auxiliary, and American Veterans (Am Vets) Post 1 Auxiliary.

Chris enjoys exploring the history of both her native Sacramento and points beyond California with her husband and her niece and nephews.  She likes cooking and spending time with family, where there is always a lot of laughter and food.
