Segundo "Sonny" Cardeno joined Jacobsen & McElroy in 2007 after practicing law in the Sacramento area since his graduation from law school in 2001. Sonny’s practice with Jacobsen & McElroy focuses on the defense of subcontractors in complex construction defect matters. Sonny is licensed to practice in both federal and state courts.

Sonny graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1992. Then after gaining experience in the legal field as a paralegal handling complex litigation, Sonny went to McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific and graduated in 2001. He is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel.
